MOSTLY VOID, PARTIALLY STARS

I see you've managed to find my humble WEBSITE. Welcome! Stay a while, take a seat. I hope you'll find this corner of the internet hospitible. Congratulations, we are now LOVING GUEST-FRIENDS.

I am LIVING PROOF that they just let ANYONE DO SCIENCE these days, and am a RECENT COLLEGE GRADUATE with a B.S. in PHYSICS. My research field is GRAVITATIONAL WAVES and EXTREME GRAVITY, and the work I've done is mostly in GRAVITATIONAL WAVE DATA ANALYSIS and most recently studying AGNs and populations of BINARY SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLES, but I'm interested in NUMERICAL RELATIVITY as well and possibly branches of PLASMA PHYSICS in EXTREME CONDITIONS.

I worked this past year on a RESEARCH PROJECT on the detectability (with next-generation gravitational wave detectors) of NONLINEEAR QUASINORMAL MODES from the ringdown signals of BINARY BLACK HOLE MERGERS. Now I am conducting research in BLACK HOLE ACCRETION/AGNS at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile, associated with the PLAGA group there. The purpose of this blog is to document both my TRAVELS and my WORK as it's ongoing.

Wow. That was a lot of SERIOUS SCIENCE JARGON. Enough of that for now.

I promise to talk about things other than BLACK HOLES here.

If you would like to keep up with my SCIENCE, you're in the RIGHT PLACE. This is going to be a rather INFORMAL WEBSITE though, so I wouldn't expect a high level of presentation.

Click on any of the .exe POPUPS on the screen to take you to my BLOG POSTS to keep up with my TRAVELS, my RESEARCH, a small ART GALLERY, and some more info about YOURS TRULY.
