MOSTLY VOID, PARTIALLY STARS
WELCOME, INTERNET TRAVELLER

I see you've managed to find my humble WEBSITE. Welcome! Stay a while, take a seat. I hope you'll find this corner of the internet hospitible. Congratulations, we are now LOVING GUEST-FRIENDS.

I am LIVING PROOF that they just let ANYONE DO SCIENCE these days. I am a RECENT COLLEGE GRADUATE with a B.S. in PHYSICS. My field is GRAVITATIONAL WAVES and EXTREME GRAVITY, and the work I do is partly THEORETICAL, partly COMPUTATIONAL.

I am currently FINISHING A RESEARCH PROJECT on the detectability (with next-generation gravitational wave detectors) of nonlinear quasinormal modes from the ringdown signal of binary black hole merger events. Before I go off to graduate school in this field, I am spending a year continuing this vein of research at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile, associated with the PLAGA group there. The purpose of this blog is to document both my TRAVELS and my WORK as it's ongoing.

Wow. That was a lot of SERIOUS SCIENCE JARGON. Enough of that for now.
I promise to talk about things other than BLACK HOLES here.
  • If you would like to keep up with my SCIENCE, you're in the right place. This is going to be a rather INFORMAL WEBSITE though, so I wouldn't expect a high level of presentation.
  • Other than that, below you will find navigation to my BLOG POSTS to keep up with my TRAVELS, a small ART GALLERY, and some more info about YOURS TRULY.

WHERE TO NEXT?
